We loved the idea of using the spikey star block partnered with the nine patch style to create this stunning quilt. Using a 9" block, the repeat gets better and better with more blocks. This quilt is a scrap lovers dream, lots of backgrounds, mediums and darks make the quilt exciting to the viewer. Busy backgrounds was our choice because the larger spaces fill quickly. Regardless od the color choices or block combinations that you use, we hope you think about the journey Amelia Earhart undertook and the undeniable path she paved for future generations of women.
